November 2, 2008:  Washington D.C.'s Best Lawyers, A Comprehensive Guide to the Area's Top Attorneys featured in Washington Post Magazine, names Hadrian Hatfield, Heather Hostetter, and Scott Strickler among the area's best family law attorneys. This comprehensive guide is based on over 2 million evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers. The firm is honored to be included in the 2009 edition as well as past editions of this reliable and useful guide.

Strickler, Sachitano & Hatfield, P.A. is pleased to announce that in September, 2008, Kelly E. Davis joined the firm as an Associate. Ms. Davis will focus on family law litigation, including matters of divorce, custody and support. Ms. Davis received her Juris Doctorate from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, Washington, D.C. Before joining the firm, Ms. Davis served as law clerk to The Honorable Katherine D. Savage, Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.

Scott Strickler is named in Worth’s list of The Top 100 Attorneys in the country and the only lawyer in the State of Maryland selected for this honor for two consecutive years.  Scott M. Strickler, Senior Partner, has the distinction of being included for the second consecutive year in Worth magazine’s December 2007 issue as one of "The Top 100 Attorneys" in the United States serving the needs of affluent clients and their families. Scott Strickler was one of only two lawyers in the State of Maryland selected for this honor and the only matrimonial lawyer in the State of Maryland earning this distinction for two consecutive years.  Worth’s editors compiled the list of nominees based on recommendations from readers, as well as those in the fields of financial advice, accounting, and consultants to affluent clients. Nominees were asked to complete a detailed questionnaire and offer insight on important legal trends and specific counsel given to actual clients. Finally, the magazine’s editorial staff performed background checks on the nominees and considered client recommendations.  

Partners are chosen for Washington’s Top Lawyers list, Washingtonian, December 2007. Hundreds of attorneys were contacted in each practice area and asked to name someone in their field whom they would trust (other than themselves).  Nominees with the most recommendations made the magazine's list.  Congratulations go to Scott Strickler, Nancy Sachitano, Hadrian Hatfield, and Heather Hostetter!
